It took a day or so, but Nikon USA finally posted an English announcement following an update from Nikon Japan.
Firmware Version 1.10 Release Date
Nikon USA has announced that on February 25, it will release a pair of firmware updates (Version 1.10) for its Z6 II and Z7 II mirrorless cameras.
In addition to fixing some bugs, the update will allow you to shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second (albeit limited to Nikon’s cropped DX-based recoding format at Normal quality). Eye-AF performance has been improved to detect eyes smaller faces.
Firmware Ver. 1.10 also supports RAW video output to Blackmagic Design external recorders, and enables recording in Blackmagic RAW format or ProRes RAW format.
It’s also now possible to control the ISO and color temperature settings in Final Cut Pro Version 10.4.9 and later when shooting ProRes RAW video to the Atomos Ninja V external recorder.

Save the Date: February 25
Both the Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II are fantastic cameras with many improvements on their older models. Even with just production firmware, the Z6 II and Z7 II are impressive, but the update to ver. 1.10 is definitely welcome.
