Being such a new and hugely popular platform, the Nintendo Switch has the fewest games on sale. Only seven digital games have been discounted for the Switch in the Cyber Deals promotion. But it’s a solid seven games, at that:
1-2-Switch - $39. 99 Super Bomberman R - $39. 99 I am Setsuna - $23. 99 Puyo Puyo Tetris - $24. 99 LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game - $41. 99 LEGO CITY Undercover - $27. 99 Disgaea 5 Complete - $49. 99
For those looking to purchase any digital Nintendo Switch games over the holidays, make sure to have plenty of storage capacity free. The Switch itself only has 32GB of onboard storage, so microSD expansion is necessary for any significant digital game purchases.
The Nintendo 3DS selection of sales is much more robust than the Nintendo Switch offerings. Publishers including Capcom, Konami, and even Atlus are joining in the sales, on top of plenty of indie devs. Nintendo has some of its own games on sale, too. From Nintendo itself, highlights include Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis On the Move, and the two Legend of Zelda Oracle Game Boy ports.
Third-party offerings include: Capcom’s Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and both Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice; Square Enix’s Bravely Default, Final Fantasy Explorers, and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call; Konami is including Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse; and other titles include Story of Seasons, Shin Megami Tensei 4: Apocalypse, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, and Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Nintendo’s official Cyber Deals sale starts today and runs through Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and all the way to December 11th. That should give buyers plenty of time to compare pricing with other holiday sales and make decisions on what’s most affordable. Alternatively, why wait when you can splurge on some great games today. Check out the official website for all sales, including those for Wii U.
